For The screw packing customer from Bulgaria in the furniture filed

A: We are a company from Bulgaria. We saw your machine on YouTube for screw packing.

B: Please let me know what kind of screw you need to pack? in a bag or box.

A: Now we make them by hand in a package. I think a package will be better.

B: The machine price is according to the machine model, so we need to see how many different screws you need to pack, how many pcs per bag? and what’s your requirement for the speed and accuracy. Do you have the finished package by your hand so we can understand better how you need to pack it? because we have a weighing machine, mix parts counting machine.

A: Different sizes, depending on the order. What does it mean? From each screw how many pcs fit in a bag? Is it possible for each screw to be separately packaged? For example, for that one we have 106 pcs in a package.

B: Can you accept tolerance in the bag? if use a fully automatic weigher machine there will be about 1~3 pcs or 1%~3% tolerance for each bag, can you accept?

A: Yes, Now we measure them by gr, Not pcs.

B: what’s the screw length range? we don’t suggest one set machine to pack too many different size range products, so please show us your main products size range.

A: We use mainly those that I sent you, now we will measure each one and send you photos with them.

B: What is your acceptable packing speed? May I know how many pieces or bags you need to pack at one time? Our weigher is designed for continuous operation for at least half an hour to an hour.

A: The required speed will depend on the total order volume. For instance, when we receive an order for 400 beds, we prepare all the packages at once, currently done manually by our staff.

For example, for these 400 beds, each package must include 8 pcs of Part A + 12 pcs of Part B. In another bed model, each package must include 16 pcs of Part A+18 pcs of Part B+18 pcs of Part C.

B: if so then weigher is not suitable for you. weigher suitable for one kind of parts in one bag and large numbers

A: We have min 10 different types of packages, I mean the same screws but different pieces. Quantity changed according to order, and furniture model.

B: counting hopper suitable for you, chain bag according to furniture installation steps, or mix bags.

A: That’s very suitable, It will be the screws for the whole furniture glued together and packaged each screw separately, It will be easier for the employees.

B: we need your different mix models so we can know how many hoppers you need

A: You need to know how many different types of packages we make? Each different model of furniture consists of screws, it’s approx 10-15 for now. As we plan to expand this year with new models. Are there any limitations?

B: hopper counting system, high accuracy, able to mix or chain bag, able to for small pieces or large pieces. the disadvantage is one hopper can handle only one type of product or similar products.

A: We will use 1 hopper for only 1 type of screw. I mean there is no limitation on 1 hopper to package from the screws different pcs. For example, we have once 106 pcs, next time 8pcs, after that 20 pcs, etc

B: no limitation for quantity, you can set quantity via touch screen from 1~10000.

A: Ok. Perfect. I think 8-10 hoppers will be ok for us. Also, if we purchase a machine with 8 hoppers now, can we add more hoppers in the future if needed?

B: yes, you can add more. There are 2 methods: one is to leave enough space for adding more hoppers, and you should inform us of the maximum number of hoppers you plan to add so we can design the PLC system accordingly. The other method is to add moving casters to each hopper table, allowing you to place a new hopper in the previous hopper’s position. However, with this method, you can only mix 8 types of parts in the same bag since the system and middle conveyor are designed for 8 types of parts.

B: For the packing machine, I think a small packing machine is enough.

If using the hopper system, the counting accuracy is 1/1000, meaning there might be one extra piece, but rarely one less. As for speed, each hopper can handle about 100 to 300 pieces per minute, depending on the shape and size of the spare parts. For example, 35 / ф8 from 12 to 106 pcs in a package, if you’re packing 12 pieces, the machine can produce around 20-30 bags per minute, whereas if you’re packing 106 pieces, it might produce around 1 bag per minute. The total machine speed is determined by the slowest hopper. Since this is a mixed packing system for A+B, if hopper A finishes counting but hopper B is still counting, the machine will wait and move to the next bag only after B has finished counting. You can add or replace hoppers in the future when you need to pack new spare parts.
