Fully Automatic Round Tea Pocket Packing Solution
In the tea market, round tea bags (also known as round tea pods or disc-shaped tea bags) have gained significant popularity due to their modern appearance, even extraction, and convenient portion control. However, during daily communication with customers from different regions, we have noticed a key divergence in product requirements:
Some customer’s round tea bag filling loose, while others demand a very tight and plump tea bag.
These needs originate from differences in tea leaf characteristics (whole leaf vs. broken leaf/fannings), target market preferences, and brewing methods. To address this, we have developed three dedicated fully automatic round tea pocket packing machine models, each optimized for a specific filling density.
Below is a clear summary of our three solutions.
Table of Contents
Machine Model 1: Loose Fill Type
Ideal for: Whole-leaf tea, herbal blends, customers who prefer quick water penetration and fast infusion

This model is designed for tea materials that are naturally bulky or fragile. The dosing system uses a gentle volumetric cup with low compression force, ensuring the tea leaves remain mostly untouched. The resulting round tea bag has a soft, airy structure – the tea inside moves slightly when shaken.
Key features:
- Measuring Scope:1- 5 g ( 2 – 10 ml )
- Bag Size:φ 70mm
- Packing Speed:10 – 40 bags/min
- Dimension ( L * W * H ):1160 * 850 * 1835 mm
- Weight:400 kg
- Total Power:220V / 50Hz / 1.6kw
- Gas source:≥0.6Mpa
- Packing material: Tea filter paper and so on.
- Sealing Type: Heat sealing
✅ When to choose: Your tea material has large leaf particles and you want rapid brewing without crushing the leaves.
Machine Model 2: Medium Plump Type
Ideal for: Standard broken-leaf tea (CTC/fannings), balanced appearance, and infusion performance

This is our most popular model. It applies moderate compression during the filling and forming stages, resulting in a round tea bag that is visibly plump but not rock-hard. The tea bag holds its shape well during secondary packaging and transport, while still allowing decent water circulation.
Key features:
- Moderate compression dosing system
- Size of Bag Inside bag :(¢):55 – 62 mm
- Outside bag: L100(mm)*W85(mm)
- Sealing Type: Inner filter pod sealing, Espresso Coffee Tea Pod, three-sided sealing for the outside wrap bag
- Cubage 4 – 8g( 12 ~ 24 ml )
- Error Tolerance ±0.2g
- Speed 10-15 bags/minute
- Machine weight 1000kg
- Dimension 780 * 2020 * 1850 mm
✅ When to choose: You need a balance between visual appeal (full-looking bag) and brewing speed. Most commercial buyers prefer this type.
Machine Model 3: Very Tight / Extra Plump Type
Ideal for: Fine tea powder, customers demanding a firm, highly compressed tea disc that resists deformation

Some customers specifically require a very tight, dense, and firm round tea bag – almost like a small tea tablet. This is often for vacuum-packed secondary packaging, long shelf life, or a specific brewing ritual where the tea slowly unfurls. Our Model 3 uses a high-pressure pre-compression chamber followed by a forced-filling system. The finished tea bag is solid to the touch, with almost no loose movement inside.
Key features:
- High-pressure compression filling (servo-driven plunger)
- Size of Bag Inside bag (¢):40-80mm
- Outside bag: L(60-120),w(60-120)
- Sealing Type Inner bag: round shaped bag, round shaped bag with ear
- Outer bag: three-sided/four-sided sealing
- Cubage 1 ~ 20 ml
- Error Tolerance ±0.2g
- Speed 10-50 bags/minute
- Machine net weight 800kg
- Dimension 1700 * 1500 * 1850 mm(LxWxH)
✅ When to choose: Your buyer complains about “loose tea bags”, you need a rock-solid round disc that survives rough handling, or your secondary packaging involves vacuum or heavy stacking.
