Multi-SKU Candy Packaging Line for Latin American customers

A Latin American Customer is currently developing a fully automated packaging line capable of providing a complete solution for the primary packaging of small assorted confectionery products. The goal is to automate the entire process, from flat carton boxes to wrapped retail units ready for secondary packaging.

The final packaged product is a small retail box (approximately 16 cm x 9 cm x 5.5 cm) that includes16 assorted confectionery units of different sizes and shapes. Each box must include exactly one unitof each product listed below, inserted in bulk inside the carton:
-1 xChocolate candy bar, rectangular, 20 g
-1 x Chocolate candy bar with candy pieces, 20 g
-2 x Mini chocolate bars with candy pieces, 10 g each
-2 x Chocolate blocks with peanut chips, 16 g each
2 x Small milk chocolate tablets, 8 g each
-1 x Chocolate truffle candy, round, 20 g
-1 x White chocolate truffle candy, round, 20 g
-2 xNougat-style chocolate bars (marroc type), 16 g each
-4x Chocolate-covered wafer bars, rectangular, 17 g each

Our Solution

  1. Vibratory Bowl Feeders, 9 hoppers, each dedicated to one candy type, for precise counting and feeding.

The vibratory feeding system is synchronized with the automatic box forming line, achieving a throughput of 15–20 boxes per minute. As shown in the video, it is currently packaging hardware parts, but the same system can be adapted to handle granular materials with appropriate tooling adjustments.

2. Automatic Carton Forming Machine, Loading System, and Carton Sealing Machine.

This machine follows the same box forming and sealing process as shown in the video. For the loading parts,we propose an enhanced loading system using hopper-based vibratory counting units (as featured in the previous video) for higher accuracy and flexibility.

3. Heat Shrink Wrapping Machine.

we recommend adopting an L-shaped heat shrink film wrapper. Its compact right-angle design seamlessly integrates into the existing production line layout, requiring minimal floor space. The L-type configuration ensures smooth film feeding and stable product transfer during the wrapping and shrinking process, providing an efficient and space-saving solution for final packaging.
