screw Packing machine for Belgian customer, Counting and bagging Machine
The client from Belgian is looking for a screw counting and bagging machine. They have provided images and dimensions for seven different types of screws. Their requirements are as follows:
Quantity: from 8 to 60 pieces of those components per bag
Capacity: about 1000 pieces of furniture per day
The screws don’t need to be mixed in one bag; it is acceptable to pack them in separate bags and then place these smaller bags into larger ones with other components.
1. 7*50 mm and 7*70 mm
2. 8*30 mm
3. 5 * 16 mm and 3,5 * 30 mm
4.
5. D15*14mm
6 Angle 16*20*20*1,2 mm
7. 3,5*16 mm
We have 2 options for this case
Option1 If you don’t need a machine to mix them all in one bag, then the below 3 hoppers with a packing machine are enough, like the video, one hopper for #1 #2#3 #4 #7, one hopper for #5, and one hopper for #6. The speed is about 20 bags per minute. You need to mix the different single bags into one bigger bag manually.
Hopper 1
Hopper 2
Hopper 3
You can use hopper 1 to pack #1, #2, #3, #4, or #7 at different times by adjusting the machine and parameters for each product. Each hopper works independently, allowing you to turn any one or all of them on via the touchscreen. When you turn on one hopper, only that hopper counts, while the others stop, and the machine packs one kind of product into a bag. When multiple hoppers are turned on, they count parts simultaneously. You can set the machine to single-pack mode (one product per bag) or mix-pack mode (multiple products per bag).
In mix-pack mode, the machine waits for all selected hoppers to finish counting before sealing the bag. If you need to pack one product per bag, you can either turn on one hopper (mode A) or turn on all hoppers (mode B). Mode B is faster because the hoppers continuously count and the machine always seals bags without waiting.
For example, if a customer needs to pack four kinds of products into separate bags, they can turn on all four hoppers, and the machine will sequentially pack each product into individual bags, which is more efficient. Alternatively, they can choose mix-pack mode to pack all four products into one bag using the touchscreen.
For detailed information, please refer to the video and case studies provided.
Option 2: Do you need to mix all 7 items each time, or sometimes only 3-4 kinds in a bag? You can order 7 hoppers to mix all items at once or mix some of them together, or choose to pack a single type in each bag. The advantage is saving time and avoiding the need to manually put small bags into bigger bags. However, the cost is higher with 7 hoppers, with each additional hopper costing $2850.
Alternatively, you can show us your main capacity for mixed bags and which items are mixed. Provide pictures of all your mixed bags and their capacities so we can design the system for you. This way, we can determine if you need 3 hoppers for mixing the main items with high capacity and manually mix the smaller capacity items into bigger bags.
