Small-scale water-based beverage packaging line For oman Client
One customer from Oman is planning to set up a water-based beverage production line. However, they are starting with a low production capacity of 200 Liters (250 x 70 ml per hour), and have a budget-conscious approach for the initial stage of their business.
- Water Treatment System
- Pasteurization System( if applicable for juice drinks made from premix powder/water-based/ not dairy-based and not from juice concentrate).
- Heating، Emulsifying, Mixing, and Blending Tank.
- Double filter( if necessary).
- Pump to transfer the juice
- Air compressor
- Pouch bag juice filling and sealing machine.
- Date code printer to apply codes to finished juice products.
We recommend the following packaging solution to meet their needs.
- Mixing and Heating Tank
For the initial stage of production, we recommend using a 100L electric heating mixing tank. This tank will mix and heat the water-based beverage, including any emulsification processes, efficiently and at a lower initial cost. The electric heating system will help maintain consistent temperatures for optimal product quality.
2. Filling and Sealing Machine
We suggest starting with a semi-automatic filling and sealing machine. This machine is well-suited for small-scale production and offers a cost-effective solution for filling and sealing the beverage into pouches. It can handle 250 x 70ml pouches per hour, making it ideal for your production capacity.
3. Date and Barcode Printing
To print dates, barcodes, and batch numbers on the finished pouches, we recommend a portable inkjet printer or industrial inkjet printer. These printers are efficient and affordable for high-quality printing on plastic bags. The Videojet 160i or Domino A100 are excellent options providing clear and durable printing in high-speed production environments.
4. Pumping and Compressing
For transferring the liquid, a food-grade centrifugal pump will ensure smooth and efficient movement of the beverage from the mixing tank to the filling machine. Additionally, an air compressor is necessary to power the filling and sealing machine, and we recommend sourcing this locally to save on shipping costs.
Cost-Effective Approach
Given the small-scale production setup, starting with the 100L mixing tank and semi-automatic filling machine will minimize initial costs while meeting your production requirements. Expanding to a full automated production line can be considered as your capacity grows.
